Grades

My current grade is an 86.33%, which is a B. For the next week, I am pretty confident i'm going to pass with at least a C, but still I plan to do all my work because my grade can go down any day of the week and i'm very happy with a B average.

One step at a time

FIVE FEARS

  1. Fear of dogs
  2. Fear of being hurt emotionally
  3. Fear of becoming over weight or gaining weight
  4. Fear of the future
  5. Fear of ghosts

EASIEST TO HARDEST

  1. Fear of being hurt emotionally
  2. Fear of the future
  3. Fear of gaining weight
  4. Fear of the future
  5. Fear of ghosts

I think I could just live life as it comes & not think of things like that, just staying healthy so I don't gain weight, & just forget about everything else.

"First in the family" or dream family doesn't support

I actually don't fit in this category. Support is what I get a lot of from my family, especially my parents. Sometimes I do feel pressured. I think it's really dumb if family tries to discourage anyone from their dreams. I imagine myself in a position like that & I would think it'd be very hurtful to not have the support of people I love.

They did it in spite of...

Marilyn Monroe
Eleanor Roosevelt
Albert Einstein
These three people have struggled a lot in their lives. Marilyn Monroe spent her childhood in a series of foster homes & orphanages. She missed out on having the love & support of her real family. Eleanor Roosevelt was extremely shy, orphaned & considered unattractive; as you can see she was insecure. Like Marilyn Monroe, she didn't have love or support from her family, but she still succeeded & became first lady of the United States. Albert Einstein, as a child was considered mentally dull; in other words, stupid. Even though many people didn't believe in him he still became one of most important inventor in the world.

What's Your Excuse?

  • I'm hispanic.
  • I have impaired vision.
  • My family expects too much from me.
  • I'm a woman.

I don't really like making excuses because as you can see, I don't have many. Family may expect a little too much from me, but I can stand up for myself & tell them what I feel. I may be hispanic but that shouldn't be a problem, more like a benefit; it makes me bilingual. I have impaired vision, but hey contact lenses or glasses can always fix that. I'm a woman...or a girl but so are 548778758738975289867489749848974897897 other people in the world! I can deal with these "excuses" they aren't a big deal.

What about status?

Status reminds me of a place of being, like where you stand in the world or what you are, kinda like popularity. The opinions that matter the most to me are ones of my friends; i don't want a really bad reputation. A rock star has more status than a teacher or a politician for the same reason that a rock star is further well heard of rather than a teacher or politician.

It is important to me to have a job with high status because I like being heard of & I want people to know who I am & what i do.
I am willing to invest the time it takes to train for a job with high status because if I'm gonna be recognized I want show a good impression & do my job the right way.
It is important to me that a job pays well rather than having a high status because I need money to live off of; I can't depend on anyone else.

Quotes

I'd rather have roses on my table than
diamonds on my neck.
-Emma Goldman

This quote to me means that love is more important than money & luxuries.
It's good to have money and the things
money can buy, but it's good too, to
check in once in a while and make sure
that you haven't lost the things that
money can't but.
-George Horace Lorimer

This next quote is very similar to the other one. This quote is telling people to not take things for granite. You never know what you have until it's gone so even if you have money, still take love, family & friends seriously.
